Thank you for visiting my blog! I am the author of the former food blog, Fail Sweetly. I’ve decided to move on from that blog since I am in a different place in my life. Living Invictus will highlight my shared love of food and travel. The word invictus is derived from a latin term meaning unconquered. Feel free to roam around and say hello. xoxo, J.

My lifelong goal is to operate a non-profit organization that assist wounded warriors and combat veterans with managing the symptoms of PTS/TBI. I currently run a project called The Fail Sweetly Project. My project began with work that was dedicated to giving back to the military community. TFSP has participated in sending care packages, pick me ups, sponsoring wounded warrior spa days, and etc. This is a video that was taken by Dave Gill during a all military trip to the Grand Canyon in 2015. It included wounded warriors. The current focus of my project is to bring a new kind of therapy that does not require medication. TFSP is sponsoring 7 wounded warriors for a Grand Canyon trip this summer.
